Omron Digital Thermometer MC-246

Omron presents Digital Thermometer (MC-246), a durable and useful device that allows an accurate, quick and safe temperature reading. The thermometer is water-resistant which makes it safe for cleaning. Also, its battery can be replaced. It has a buzzer which beeps when the measurement is complete, and the readings are displayed in a clear font and size. It is suitable for oral, rectal and underarm temperature measurement and it takes 80 seconds for oral measurement, 60 seconds for rectal measurement and 120 seconds for underarm measurement. You can select which measurement mode you want to use, i.e., °C or °F and recalls last temperature measurement taken, allowing you to keep track.

TAKING TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

• Press the power on/off button. A default temperature 37.0°C (98.6°F) is shown up on display.
• Apply the thermometer to the measurement site.
• When the reading is ready, the thermometer will emit a beeping sound three times. Remove it from the measurement site and read the result.
• Turn off the thermometer and store it in the protective case.

SWITCHING BETWEEN CELSIUS AND FAHRENHIET

• Press the power on/off button for 7 seconds until a beep sound is emitted.
• The display will change to the other measurement scale at the time the beep sound is emitted.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

• Use a coin to take off the battery cover.
• Remove the battery.
• Insert the new battery with the ‘+’ pole facing upwards.
• Use a coin to replace the battery cover.
