A 4 mm needle reduces the risk of injecting into the muscle, compared with larger needles.

Novofine 32g 0.23/0.25x4mm . The G stands for gauge and is a measure of needle thickness; the higher the number, the thinner the needle. Thin needles are associated with less pain.
