The content is presented as greyish-white to ochre powder, with slightly reminiscent odour of strawberry (before and after reconstituted).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOverview\u003cbr\u003eSmecta® is indicated for:\u003cbr\u003e- Treatment of acute diarrhoea in adults and children above 2 years, in addition to oral rehydration\u003cbr\u003e- Symptomatic treatment of chronic functional diarrhoea in adults\u003cbr\u003e- Symptomatic treatment of pain associated with functional bowel diseases in adults\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDosage\u003cbr\u003eTreatment of Acute Diarrhoea\u003cbr\u003eIn children of 2 years of age and above: 4 sachets per day for 3 days, then 2 sachets per day for 4 days.\u003cbr\u003eIn adults: On average, 3 sachets per day for 7 days.
